MARIAGE FRÈRES OPIUM ROAD- Blue Tea | Natural

Apart from its unique taste, Opium Road tea is famed for its highly beneficial polyphenols and other antioxidant compounds that support general health and wellbeing.  The traditional methods of the Lahu tribe have been employed for many generations in growing this ancient variety of tea.  After harvesting the freshly plucked leaves, they are rolled and rinsed in boiling water then sun-dried on bamboo trays placed above an open fire which gives this tea its distinctively rich, smoky flavor.
