At an altitude of a thousand meters in the mountainous region of Yunnan, where the clouds form a last bulwark between the earth and the sky, not far from the border with Laos, this confidential garden continues the ancestral tradition of long-fermented tea. First shaped by the hand of man and then entrusted to the love of time during its maturation phase, this millesime reveals a few of the secrets of this emblematic terroir.
Dried leaves:A majority of young shoots with a dark hue of pine bark make up this plucking, illuminated here and there by a few copper-tinted buds. A bouquet accented with autumn undergrowth unleashes notes of fern, moss and walnut shell.
Infused leaves: The warm leaves exude generous aromas of almond and fresh walnut.
Liqueur: Dense and rich, the color resembles that of a fully ripe chestnut. The rim of the cup opens to the light with reflections of rose gold and copper, offering a warm fragrance of chestnut cream. The extremely velvety liqueur entirely envelops the palate with an impression of walnut honey and nougat.
