This ‘gold’ Pu-Erh was the authentic, precious tea of Chinese tribes under the Song and Qing dynasties. Only the young buds are chosen, carefully plucked early in the year (February), before the rainy season starts, when they are still fine and covered with down. With its elegant, golden leaves, this rare Pu-Erh is never packaged as a compressed tea. Its liqueur is deep red, dense yet mild with a scent of lotus and a slightly sweet taste. Aromatic and aged, it represents the height of refinement. It also boasts beneficial and soothing qualities.
Presented in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
