The shape of this “adventurer” teapot alludes to the hand-warmers used in the Orient in the 18th century.
Its body of crazed stoneware and its flat, detachable handle of bamboo (from the forests of Kyoto) remind us that a pot of hot, restoring tea can match the warmth of coals and embers.
Stoneware teapot made in France.
