This teapot was deigned as a tribute to all the “solitary poets” who sang the praises of tea, from Marcel Proust who immortalized the emotions stirred by a tea-soaked pastry to Pushkin, Thomas Mann, and Henry James.
Its half-orb shape allows the imagination to choose between sunrise and sunset, while its “tea-clipper” decoration is an emblem of exotic travel.
Stoneware teapot made in France.
