The taste of nostalgia.
Grown on the island of Kyushu, this tea is unique in being processed according to the Chinese method–the freshly plucked leaves are ‘roasted’ (dry heat) rather than ‘sweated’ (steam) in the usual Japanese manner.
Highly appreciated by connoisseurs, its pale yellow liqueur has a taste that remains long in the mouth.
A rare tea for those rare occasions.
Presented in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
